Had a &#8220;date&#8221; yesterday that ended up taking place in 3 different locations over 7 hours because we didn&#8217;t want to say goodbye.  Needless to say, it went well, but the thing I can&#8217;t get out of my mind (aside from wanting to hang out again ASAP) is that she said I am very confident. Me, confident? This is new&#8230; a descriptor that a younger me would have never attached to myself. So I&#8217;m feeling so pleased right now&#8212;proud of myself for taking a risk, and for becoming something that I don&#8217;t think I ever expected to attain. A confident woman. Cue happy dance. :) (Also, new Who last night&#8230; omg!)

COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE FIRST BAD WOLF DAY EVER!

BAD WOLF Day is a day just for Whovians! On September 1st (in honor of the new season of DW), every Whovian who is participating is to go out in a public place (could be WalMart, your school, the beach, etc. Virtually anywhere  your heart desires) and is to write ‘BAD WOLF’ in big, bold letters. Then, you Whovians are to take a picture of your beautiful ‘BAD WOLF’ and post it on tumblr saying where you took the picture (maybe you can even tell of some of the reactions you got from bystanders. Or maybe if you met a fellow Whovian also performing BAD WOLF Day!) and to post it with the tag ‘bad wolf day’. Maybe if this time gets a big enough turn out, we can do this monthly or something? I dunno, that’s up to you guys and your participation. Go crazy and have fun!

In which John discusses the end of the Looking for Alaska candle and the coming of the box set designed by nerdfighter Karen Kavett (http://www.youtube.com/xperpetualmotion). Also, John takes you on a whirlwind international tour of TFIOS translation covers. In a shocking twist, none of them feature feet OR whispering girls. John has made a punishment “compromise” kinda deal—if the nerdfighter group on Kiva makes it to $1,000,000 total loaned to Kiva borrowers before vlogbrothers reaches 1,000 videos uploaded, he and Hank will FINALLY do the punishments they have been putting off for forever. Also, John has gone on record saying they’re double the punishment.
